Biography

Winger who arrived at Dens from Scarborough, Kevin had previously been with Partick Thistle where he made one start and eleven sub appearances. He then moved south in a £25,000 transfer going to Preston North End in 1993.

Magee was at Deepdale for two seasons, making twenty-five appearances before he continued his travels. He moved south to Plymouth in 1995, but made only five sub appearances before joining Scarborough. By comparison his stay with the seaside club was long enough for him to make twenty-six appearances, scoring once.

He returned to Scotland at the beginning of the 1996-7 season, making his debut against Dumbarton in the League Cup. However, he was only at Dens Park for one season, being valued at £40,000 and part of the deal which brought Rab Douglas to the club.

The winger made a total of twenty-five appearances for Livingston before maintaining his nomadic existence and joined Montrose in the 1997-98 season where he remained for two seasons. From there he went to Berwick Rangers and then onto East Fife, before finishing playing his career back playing for Montrose.
