Andy Dow was one of the few youngsters to emerge through the ranks at Dens during the early nineties.
He became a regular fixture in the left midfield role and scored his one and only goal for the club at Easter Road on the 20th February 1993 in a 3-1 win for the Dee.
Dow sold to Chelsea for £275,000 at the end of the 1992-93 season. Although he played several times for Chelsea he was later released and joined Hibs. He had two seasons with the Edinburgh club before following Alex Miller to Pittodrie and had two seasons there. He then had spells with Motherwell, St Mirren, Arbroath and Raith Rovers.
