Perth-born striker who was only at the club for a short time, Colin McGlashan went on to make quite a name for himself as a goal-grabber in the lower leagues.
He only made a total of fourteen league appearances for the club scoring one goal in season 83-84 before he moved to Dunfermline the following season. At East End Park, he also only spent one season, totalling sixteen appearances for the Fifers, again only scoring once.
Staying in Fife, he moved again this time to Cowdenbeath where he spent a wee bit longer lasting a total of two and a half seasons making a total of sixty appearances and scoring twenty-seven goals.
This brought him to the attention of Clyde where he was to spend three and a half seasons for the Bully Wee, making a total of one hundred and forty appearances for them scoring forty-eight goals before Partick Thistle signed him at the start of season 1990-91.
At Firhill, he went onto make a total of one hundred and three appearances scoring thirty goals in three and a half years.
On his travels again, he moved to Ayr United for a season, scoring three times in 36 appearances, before returning to the east to play for Montrose.
After five seasons with them he moved Angus clubs to Arbroath and enjoyed successful seasons with them first in the second and then promotion to the first. He left Arbroath to join Elgin City, but was turning out for Tayport twelve months later.
