Biography

Robbie Raeside was signed by Jim Duffy during his first spell at the club. He previously was with Raith Rovers, and was part of the squad that won the League Cup, though he was not in the side that beat Celtic, but he did gain European experience with Rovers.

Surprisingly given a free transfer, he joined Dundee in 1996 and spent a couple of seasons with the club at the heart of the defence before being loaned to Arbroath in September 1999, for whom he signed on a permanent basis six months later.

Raeside was released at the end of that season and went onto play for Morton and Alloa, both for one term. He then spent two months with Stirling Albion before joining Peterhead and then moving back to Arbroath before finishing up with St Andrews United.
