Biography

After five seasons at Easter Road, Alec joined the club from Hibs on a free transfer in 1972. The right-sided midfielder made his debut against Celtic in the 1972-73 season, starting twenty four appearances for the club. Alec scored his one and only goal against Dunfermline in a 5-1 victory at East End Park in March 1974.

His final appearance in a dark blue jersey came in a Dryburgh Cup tie at Palmerston at the start of the following season. Ultimately, he moved to the States and went onto run a sports bar in Miami.
