Biography

Frenchman Kevin Gomis started his career with En Avant Guingamp but he failed to make a single appearance for the first team, instead, turning out for the B (reserve) team.

In 2009, he made the move to Portugal to sign a two-year deal with Naval and played 44 times over two seasons.

A move back to France was on the cards and Gomis joined up with Nice on a three-year deal, where he would spend five years. During that time, the defender was loaned out to English side Nottingham Forest but he made only one appearance, with his attitude rumored to be the reason.

It was in 2016 that he found his way to Dens Park in a one-year deal after a successful trial. Gomis would go onto make 22 appearances for Dundee as the club escaped relegation but he would not be offered a contract extension by new manager, Neil McCann.

Gomis currently plays for French side Le Grand-Quevilly.
