Biography
Finnish striker Benjamin Kallman began his career at hometown club Ekenas, where he broke into the first team aged 16 and scored 6 goals in 38 games. This form attracted the interest of top Finnish club Inter Turku, who signed Benjamin in 2016.
Regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in Finnish football, 8 goals in 20 games for Inter during the 2018 season attracted the interest of Dundee, who secured the player on a loan to buy deal in August 2018.
The striker found himself in and out of the team under both Neil McCann and Jim McIntyre, making 11 starts and a further 7 appearances from the bench for Dundee. He scored just once, in the 3-1 home defeat to Motherwell in September 2018, and assisted Kenny Miller for the Dundee equaliser in the 1-1 draw with St Mirren in November 2018.
Benjamin returned to his parent club Inter in the January transfer window, and has since been loaned to clubs in Norwegian and Swedish football.
