Biography
Alan spent seven years with his local club Ayr United where he played for the Honest Men 245 times, scoring an impressive 45 goals.
This kind of consisting form earned him a move to the Premiership after he penned pre-contract with Livingston where he would spend two seasons with before moving to Hearts.
Forrest spent four seasons with the Jambos but it was his final season that saw his game time halved compared to the previous years and in June 2026, the attacking midfield left Hearts when his contract expired and joined Dundee the next month on a two-year-deal with a club option of a third.
