Biography

Oluwaseun Adewumi holds a unique record of signing for two different teams on the same day.

The attacking midfielder caught the eye of Burnley while playing for Austrian side Floridsdorfer and as soon as he signed a four-year deal with the Clarets, he immediately joined the Dark Blues on a loan deal until 2025.

The Austrian had to bide before making an impact in a Dark Blue jersey and after a few starts and substitute appearances, Adewumi made his case for nailing down a first team spot by scoring a wonder goal at home in a 4-1 victory over Motherwell that earned him plenty of plaudits.

Adewumi would use this as a spring board to be one of the first names on the team sheet as he proved to be a thorn in the oppositions defence with his forward and menacing runs - which included a goal and a man of the match reward after a 1-1 draw with Rangers at home in January 2025.

It was then announced midway through the January transfer window that Oluwaseun would remain at Dens for the remainder of the season.
