Biography

Luke Graham was a product of the Dundee youth system who after only one full season of playing for the Dark Blues, would earn himself a £2 million plus add-on move to English Championship club Stoke City.

Graham penned his first ever professional contract hen he put pen to paper to sign a deal with Dundee in June 2021.

He would be loaned out to local club Lochee United that season where he helped them to 3rd in the league and becoming winners of the East Region League Cup.

Despite being tailed by big clubs like Arsenal and going on trial to Sheffield United, Graham knocked back a second trial with the Yorkshire club to sign a new deal with Dundee.

Luke would make some appearances over the next two years in Pre-season but would continue to play his trade by going out to lower league sides Montrose and Albion Rovers.

In the League Cup group stages of the 2024/25 season, the young defender came on as a substitute to make his debut in a 3-1.victory over Annan.

Then in a baptism of fire, Graham was a suprise starter in for his League debut in the first game of the season in the Dundee Derby away to United.

He would be loaned out to Championship side Falkirk who steamrolled their way to the title that season with Graham proving to be a vital part of the success of that team.

Even after being recalled for cover in the January window, Luke would finish the season with the Bairns as he picked up host first winners medal.

The 2025/26 season was the young defenders time to announce himself to the Dundee faithful as he grabbed and then kept his spot in the centre of defence.

His style of play, willingness to take the ball from defence to attack and popping up in the box to score a few vitals goals made him an instant favourite.

There was plenty of calls for Scotland manager Steve Clarke to take a chance on him on an international level and he was included in Scotland’s pre-camp training squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and was selected on the bench for the friendly against Curacao, though he was announced substitute.

Despite traveling with the club to their training base in Hungary to prepare for the 2026/27 season, Stoke City had a record-breaking transfer fee for Dundee accepted and the young Scot made his move down South to England.
