Whilst at Forfar he scored six goals in his twelve appearances. He had previously only made two appearances as a substitute for Dundee the season before. Although he made 17 appearances for Spurs, mainly from the bench and scored 5 goals, he couldn't break through at White Hart Lane, going out on loan to first Charlton and then Swansea.

In 1995 he returned north to join Motherwell on a free transfer, but again was only on the periphery of things. scoring three times in 35 appearances. Released by Motherwell at the end of the 1997-98 campaign, the Glasgow-born striker went on to play for Stirling Albion briefly before joining the Junior ranks with Pollok.
