Biography

McMullan started his career off at Celtic as a youth player but never broke through to the first team.

He was loaned out to Stenhousemuir, Morton, St Mirren and Dunfermline.

Eventually, Celtic would let him leave to join Dundee United on a two-year deal. During his spell with the club, he played 122 times, finding the back of the net 19 times. Most of these came in the second tier.

With game time hard to come by after achieving promotion back to the top-flight with the Arabs, he made the small walk across the street to join Dundee on-loan in the January window in 2021.

McMullan brought a new spark to Dundee and help the club win promotion back to the Premiership with 13 assists in 20 appearances.

He made his permanent move to Dens on the 11th June 2021 by signing a two-year deal.

The following season was a disappointment with the club suffering relegation from the top flight but the season that followed, McMullan contributed to Dundee's quick return to the Premiership by winning the Championship.

McMullan found game time hard to come by in the second half of the season, but his assists and goal certainly helped the club get over the finishing line.
