Timeline

  • Date of Birth

Osman was born on this date in Stockholm, Sweden.

  • Signed For Dundee

  • Dundee beat Brora Rangers 2-0 in this afternoon’s Betfred Cup tie at Dudgeon Park, the Dark Blues’ first competitive match for seven months. Goals from Graham Dorrans and Danny Mullen in the first half hour gave the Dee victory. The Highland League champions were tough opponents who will be disappointed that they didn’t get on the scoresheet but Dundee’s extra quality allowed them to three hard fought points.

  • Dundee threw away a three goal lead in a remarkable game at the Kilmac Stadium allowing Dunfermline to escape with a point from a 3-3 draw after scoring three times in the final 16 minutes. Charlie Adam gave the Dee a well deserved half time lead with a superb goal, and Osman Sow added a second early in the second half. Liam Fontaine’s goal after 70 minutes should have sealed a valuable win but the Pars took over in the last 20 minutes. Paul Watson pulled a goal back and a Declan McManus penalty ensured the momentum was with the Pars in the closing stages. It still looked like the Dark Blues would hold out, but with the last kick of the match McManus scored his second with a free kick to give the Pars an unlikely draw.

  • Dundee delivered an excellent performance in Kirkcaldy to take a vital 3-0 lead into the second leg of the Premiership play-off semi-final. Jordan McGhee put the Dee ahead midway through the first half, and added a second 10 minutes after half time. Osman Sow capped a fine evening for the Dark Blues with a late third goal after coming off the bench. The Dark Blues impressed throughout thanks to a disciplined and creative display by the whole team, but the headline act was Charlie Adam, who was involved in all three goals and gave a masterclass in creative passing.

  • Last Appearance - Kilmarnock 1 - 2 Dundee

The Dee are back in the Premiership after beating Kilmarnock 2-1 in the second leg and 4-2 on aggregate in the play-off final! A marvellous, professional performance saw off Killie who were second best throughout the two games. Early goals tonight from Danny Mullen and Lee Ashcroft put the Dee firmly in charge and Killie never looked like shaking the Dee’s grip on the final. Kyle Lafferty pulled a goal back from the penalty spot midway through the second half, but Dundee saw the game out calmly and confidently to earn the place in the Premiership that the players, management and staff so richly deserved.
