Biography

Originally with Aberdeen, Livingston signed Mullen after he was released by the Dons and made his way up the youth ranks to eventually play for the first team.

The popular striker would score 42 goals in 176 appearances over six seasons.

During his time with Livi, he helped them win the 2014-15 Challenge Cup as well as the 2016-17 League One title.

After finding appearances limited in 2017-18, Mullen signed for St Mirren but on an 'emergency basis' at first at the end of 2017.

When the transfer window opened in January 2018, he made the move permanent with a five-figure fee exchanged between both clubs.

He helped St Mirren to the 2017-18 Championship title and the following season, scored a vital goal on the 2nd leg of the Play-Off Final against Dundee United which helped them keep their place in the top-flight.

Danny became a Dundee player in August 2020 and replayed the club by scoring 8 goals in 36 appearances.

His best performances however were saved for both games in the Play-Off Final against Kilmarnock were the striker workrate was outstanding.

He capped off these appearances by netting the first goal in the 2nd Leg at Rugby Park.

Mullen unfortunately suffered an ankle injury on the first game of the season and would keep him out of the team for around three-months.

At the end of season 2021-22 following Dundee's relegation, Mullen left the club when his contract wasn't renewed and went on to sign with Partick Thistle.
