Biography
The much-travelled and veteran Italian international striker came to the club on a free transfer from Derby County in September 2003.
Unfortunately, his tenure at Dens was short due to him his release when the club went into administration.
Ravanelli made his first appearance in the 1-0 home win over Partick Thistle and totalled just five SPL starts. The Italian came off the bench to score a quick-fire hat- trick in the CIS Cup against Clyde at Broadwood, which were his only goals for the club.
The Italian had previously been with, amongst others, Juventus, Middlesbrough. Lazio and Derby.
After his Dens departure, he retuned to his native country to play for his home town club Perugia, with whom he began his career.
