Biography

An inspirational figure who was brought in to fill the void after Claudio Caniggia's move to Rangers, Temuri was signed on a free transfer from Wolves by Ivano Bonetti.

The Georgian international midfielder made his debut against Hibs in October 2002 and went on to score five times for the club in his short spell at Dens, including a home brace against Motherwell.

He made a total of twenty-three appearances for Dundee.

Ketsbia initially came to everyone's attention when he signed for Newcastle United, but Temuri originally started his career back home with Dynamo Tiblisi before joining Cypriot club Anorthosis Famagusta. From there he spent three seasons at AEK Athens before his move to England.

The big midfielder left the Dundee at the end of the 2002-03 season to rejoin Anorthosis Famagusta, where he ended his career.
