Biography

A product of the Dundee youth setup, Sam was a regular with the Under-18 and reserve teams during the 2018/2019 season.

The defender was on the bench during the Betfred Cup group stage before joining East Kilbride on loan.

On the 12th October 2020, Fisher signed a three-year extension with Dundee and immediately joined Forfar on loan again but after just 9 appearances, he returned back to Dundee due to the suspension of the lower leagues.

Another two loan spells for Fofar would follow in the 20-21 and 21-22 season.

In between, he would make his competitive debut for Dundee away to Raith in January 2021.

Fisher joined up with ex-manager James McPake when he joined Dunfermline on-loan for the 2022-23 campaign. Fisher was recalled during this season by Gary Bowyer but at the end of that campaign and despite Dundee gaining promotion to the top-flight, Fisher decided to leave Dens Park to join back up with McPake at the Pars.
