Biography
Danny McLennan was in the twilight of his playing career when he joined the club on a free transfer from East Fife, only making four appearances.
All these came in the 1957- 58 League Cup campaign with his debut being against Queens Park and surprising enough a couple of games later his last was against the same opposition.
The wing-half began his career at Rangers, signing for Stirling Albion just after the war, but played only three games for Albion before moving on to Falkirk from whom he joined East Fife.
Spending only a matter of months at Dens, Danny joining Berwick as player/manager, but in June 1960 returned to boss his old club, Stirling Albion.
He left Annfield within a year after a simmering row with his directors who did not always appreciate his methods and Danny continued in managership with Worcester City from where he embarked on becoming a "soccer missionary" in various and diverse footballing parts of the world from the likes Mauritius to the Middle East.
