Biography
Clive first came to prominence when the Kirrie Thistle right-winger played for Dundee United in October 1956, scoring three times in three games as a trialist. However, he went on to sign for Dundee at the start of the following season.
Like Watt, he only made one appearance for the Dark Blues - in a 3-0 defeat at Pittodrie in September 1957.
Freed at the end of the season, Wallace moved across the road, but played only nine games for Second division United.
Early in 1959, he was transferred to Montrose, but his Links Park contract was cancelled just two months later and he joined Bury.
At the start of season 58-59 season he joined nearby Stockport County and scored four times in 13 appearances for the Cheshire club as his short- lived career in senior football drew to a close.
