Biography

One of the less well known players to have crossed the great divide in the city.

Originally taken to Tannadice by Reggie Smith from Aberdeen University in December 1956, he was to have a brief career on both sides of Tannadice Street.

Despite scoring eight times in twenty games for Dundee United, the striker was freed five months later. After his summer switch of city clubs, his tenure at Dens was only to be measured in weeks.

He made his one and only first team appearance in a disastrous 6-0 defeat at Hearts hands in Edinburgh on the 7th September 1957 and was promptly released thirteen days later!
