Biography
Arthur was another player of the late fifties, who failed to fulfil expectations whilst at Dens Park.
He appeared just three times in the 1957-58 term-all these coming during a dismal December with his first in a 7-1 defeat by Airdrie. The Dundee-born winger's other two games were against Aberdeen who won 2-1 and his last against Raith Rovers ended in another defeat (4-0).
Arthur was given a free transfer at the end of that season.
