Dundee suffered their first defeat of the West German tour last night.

The calibre of this Eintracht side was of course far ahead of previous opposition, and Archie Knox wasn't disheartened by the Dundee performance, being more concerned by further injuries to his players.

After the game John McCormack and Bobby Glennie had to go to hospital for precautionary check-ups for shoulder and stomach respectively. injuries

As for the game, two goals in the final 10 minutes beat Dundee-one coming from a defensive slip, the other doubtful penalty. a

"We played well earlier in the game," said Archie, "and had the better chances. But there is a lesson here for the players-to maintain control and keep on their toes for all of the 90 minutes."
