Manager's Programme Notes

We are back at the Kilmac Stadium today for what is sure to be another tough match.

I've made no secret of my admiration for the work Dick and his backroom staff have put in at Gayfield and I'm looking forward to.coming.up against them again today.

Our last couple of matches have given us real confidence heading into a busy period.

Unfortunately we only picked up three points from the two matches but felt we were worth more than that.

I was delighted to get the win over Inverness. They are another difficult opponent so to play so well and come away with three points was pleasing.

I felt even after we had conceded we composed ourselves quite quickly and took hold of the game again. I just thought to a man that night we were excellent.

At Tynecastle, it was a real disappointment and frustration at full time.

We took the game to them and created more chances and should have came away with at least a point. The difference was a mixture of the woodwork and Craig Gordon being on top form. If it wasn't for that then believe we'd have came away with all three points and don't think anyone could have complained had that been the case as we certainly feel we deserved them.

They are a good side, that's why they are top of the league, but we showed character to get back in the game at 2-0 down.

And, when we got that goal back, there was only one team going to score.

I was proud but gutted for my players because of what they gave me.

We bounce back from that this afternoon and take the frustration into this match. Everyone has been at it in training in the past week and we can't wait to get going with this run of games.

There are a bunch of players here who are determined to get it right and give this club the best chance they can to get out of this league, starting today.

Enjoy the game, wherever you are watching from.
