Manager's Programme Notes

It was a much improved performance last weekend at Easter Road.

There were things in the performance we could have been better at, we could have created more but we really restricted Hibs.

Straight away after the match we turned our focus to today's match and we need to be at the same levels again this afternoon.

Every came at Dens we demand three points in this league. It is what we are striving for in every game in this league but particularly at home we need to be winning every game. This place needs to be a fortress, it needs to bea place teams don't like coming to.

We have a chance today to get all three points but Arbroath are a good side. The games last season were very tight but it has to be the same level of performance drive and commitment we showed at Easter Road and nothing less.

Arbroath have a good squad, manager and staff and I've no doubt they will be in a much improved position come the end of the season but we just have to make sure that their upturn in form begins after Saturday.

Wherever you are watching from today I hope you enjoy the match.
