Manager's Programme Notes

Welcome back to Dens Park for our first official game of the season.

I would also like to welcome Keith Knox and his Stranraer team and wish them all the best for the coming season after all their problems off the park last season.

It is a much changed squad for this season's campaign with plenty of new faces around the dressing room. The new players have settled in very well and along with all their new team mates have worked very hard during pre season.

I feel the depth and strength of the squad is better this season in which we should put up a better challenge for the league title. However, we cannot take things for granted as it will still be a hard season in which a number of clubs will feature among the challengers.

First things first though and the Co-Operative Insurance Cup tie with Stranraer is one in which we have to be at our most professional best if we want to progress into the next round.

Enjoy the game.
