Match Report

Dundee bounced back from their Scottish Cup hangover to maintain their almost unassailable lead at the top of Division One.

Back at Cliftonhill for the first time this year, Accies made up for their absence with the opener.

Last season's top scorer Ritchie cut. the ball back to Thomson who unleashed a low, hard drive from the edge of the box into Douglas's left hand corner.

But Hamilton's lead lasted only two minutes.

The defence was posted missing at an Anderson throw-in, leaving Grady to hit his 17th goal of the season with an unstoppable overhead kick which sailed into the roof of the net.

John Robertson popped up to net what proved to be the winner.

Hamilton's McQuade failed to clear a Maddison cross. and following blocked attempts by Grady and Robertson, the on-loan Hearts' hit-man netted at the third attempt beating Tynecastle colleague Hogarth in the Hamilton goal.

Hamilton had the better of the second half and were desperately unlucky not to find an equaliser.

McQuade and McCormack came close and then, in injury time, Craig hit a 40-yarder off the bar.
