Match Report

Fuming Jim Duffy CURSED his Dens flops and branded them totally unprofessional.

The disgusted Dens Park gaffer SCREAMED at his disappointing defence as Stirling Albion snatched a point in a last-minute smash and grab raid.

Brassed off Duffy revealed: "We were swearing at them at the back. It's cost them two valuable points AND their win bonus.

"There was a lack of determination and it is a big disappointment to lose a goal in the last minute."

A 79th minute beauty from Dens kid Jerry O'Driscoll, who expertly chipped the ball past Mark McGeown, gave Dundee the lead.

Stirling looked dead and buried when shamed hitman Stephen McCormick was sent off for stamping on Dundee's David Winnie.

But supersub Tom Tait grabbed his side a last-gasp relegation lifeline just minutes after coming off the bench.

Goal hero Tait bulleted an 88th minute header, his first goal of the season, past helpless Dundee keeper Gary McGlynn.

But the Stirling saviour later admitted: I'm no goal threat. He said: "It was great to score. We deserved the draw, because we played well and had our chances.

"Dundee are one of the glamour sides in the division and it worked for us because maybe they thought they'd get an easy ride."

The result finished off a disastrous week for the Duffy, who failed to gain clearance for new signing Lee Power prior to the game.

But Kevin Drinkell's men were worthy of a share of the spoils after keeping their heads despite being a man down. And the delighted Forthbank boss said afterwards: "To come back after the sending off was great. "

"But I felt we could have won."
