Manager's Programme Notes

Last week we had the misfortune to be the opposition when Celtic won the league championship. In recent seasons we have had a habit of being involved in such a game unfortunately it has always been to decide some other team's fate.

Whilst there have been many aspects of this seasons play to please us there have also been the disappointment.

The most important of these, the fact that we have not qualified for Europe and our exit from the Scottish Cup.

The worst casualty at Den's this season, obviously the injury to Jim Duffy his influence on the park has been badly missed. Jim's injury was the beginning of a run of injuries which definitely contributed to our performances in the second half of the season.

Although we can no longer qualify for Europe it is still important for us to win our two remaining games. Today's visitors, Hibs, have improved since the turn of the year and have steadily climbed up the league and we know that this will be a difficult game as they will also want to finish in style.

Lastly I thank you all for your support throughout the season and hope to see all and many more next season.
