Manager's Programme Notes

Last week was possibly one of the worst for Dundee F.C. in a long time.

It is evident that our long term injuries have had a bearing on results since December and now suspensions have caught up with us, leaving very few options to choose from.

One pleasing feature was the performances of Stephen Frail and Stephen Campbell in their first team outings.

It may be that I have been over protective of playing the young players during a time when things were not going too well for us.

I persisted in playing players who were off form and others who were turning in poor performances.

Since Frail and Campbell did not look out of place against Hearts, I will definitely be introducing other young players during the remaining games.

I know that you the fans are very disheartened by recent results but I can assure you the players feel a lot worse, they know they have let everyone down recently.
