Manager's Programme Notes

After two consecutive home wins in the league we now concentrate on the Scottish Cup today.

In the last round we encountered Motherwell who are managed by Wee Tam McLean, today we meet our local rivals Dundee United managed of course by Tam's big brother, Wee Jim.

Today's game will be our sixth meeting of the season, 3 league, 1 Skol Cup, and 1 Forfarshire Cup being the previous meetings every one of which was a very exciting game.

It has been unfortunate the clubs have been drawn against each other in the last three cup competitions especially in the early stages like today.

It would be much better for everyone concerned for the clubs to meet in the final itself, however only one of us can now achieve that honour.

United have recovered from their bad spell during the season and are now undefeated since the turn of the year, as previously mentioned we have won our last two games, everything therefore suggests that today's game will be a really good one.

That being the case then the definite winners will be the supporters.

Enjoy the game.
