Manager's Programme Notes

Tuesday's result, in our rearranged game against St. Mirren was a very important result for us, it is a result which we must now build on.

Our performance in the St. Mirren game pleased me as some of our football played was the best for a few weeks.

I have signed two new players recently, namely Billy Kirkwood and Gary Rowell and it was good to hear you, the supporters giving them plenty of encouragement during Tuesday's game and the players certainly responded.

Today's visitors are Morton who although being at the bottom of the Premier League are still playing and battling with the same enthusiasm as they did on the opening day of the season.

They are a difficult team to beat and we know we must not underestimate them.

Rab Geddes and Rab Shannon are once again chosen to represent Dundee F.C. at a get together of the National and Under-21 sides on Monday.

We are absolutely delighted both are involved in these squads and I hope it is not too long before they are joined by more of their team mates.
