Manager's Programme Notes

As we approached the festive season we had crucial games against two teams who lie above us in the league, Hearts and Rangers, who we again play tonight.

Unfortunately, we only picked up one point from these two games, that point coming from the exciting but goalless game with Hearts.

The game at Ibrox was disappointing to say the least. Again we lost silly goals early in the game which meant we had to chase the game.

However, we got back on the rails with a win over Dunfermline on New Years Day.

It was a game which saw Tommy Coyne score his 30th goal of the season, an unforgettable achievement, and as there are still a lot of games to play he will obviously be looking to add to that tally.

Tommy is the first to admit that the rest of the team have helped him considerably in achieving his record.

It is that same teamwork we need tonight to record the right result needed.
