Manager's Programme Notes

November was a good month for us in terms of results.

Our only setback during that time was at Parkhead where incidentally I thought we played our best football of the month.

Our result and performance in last week's derby game was excellent and was obviously greatly appreciated by the fans.

Your support at Tannadice was very good and very vocal and I keep saying the players respond to the encouragement from the terraces.

Rangers and Celtic have had the advantage of their backing for years both in terms of numbers and noise.

We have opened up a useful gap from the team below us and that sets us up nicely for the second half of the season.

However we must now look to catch the team above us and to days opponents are one of those teams.

We have already played Aberdeen three times this sea son and each game has been a good competitive game.

I don't see today being any different. Both teams go into today's game confident after recent results.

Tomorrow at Dens we have a Testimonial Game for Jim Duffy and we hope you will once again turn out for this de serving cause.
